speed delivers the fastest seek times in the world, 3.6ms! It
also features a 8MB cache buffer, an average latency of 2ms,
and a maximum data transfer rate of 160MB/second.
The Cheetah X15-36LP benefits from significant performance
enhancements with Seagate's Advanced Multidrive System (SAMS)
that optimizes the drive for maximum I/O performance in server
and RAID applications. The Cheetah X15-36LP features the most
comprehensive drive protection system in the industry, Seagate’s
3D Defense System consisting of Drive Defense, Data Defense,
